ETV / Communications

ETV offers a variety of scheduled television programs and media related services to the Huntsville City School System. You will find our broadcast on Comcast Channel 17 and Knology Channel 99 as well as ETV Channels 7, 9, 11, and 13 in Huntsville City Schools.

School Board Meetings (normally held the first and third Thursdays at 5:30pm, unless otherwise noted) are broadcast LIVE on the ETV Cable Channel, and streamed LIVE on the Huntsville City Schools Website.

Our football program, "Coach's Corner", features a different HCS high school team every week, and airs throughout the football season. The show is broadcast every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 10:00 pm on the ETV Cable Channel (unless pre-empted by a school board meeting).

Other Special Programs

During the year, ETV will broadcast the "All City Choral Concert" in October, our "Holiday Music Special" in December, featuring highlights from HCS high school concerts, the Middle & High School District Music Assessment for Band and Choral in February / March, and LIVE broadcast of all of the Huntsville City High School Graduations in May, with repeat broadcasts through the first week of June.
