Connecting with our community is critical to the success of our school system.  We invite the public to join us as we enter into a 21st Century learning environment in all of our schools.  There are many new and exciting initiatives taking place in the Huntsville City School District.

Community engagement involves all community members.  Collaborating with our local businesses, organizations, parents, grand-parents, etc. will help us reach our goal of setting our students up for success - being able to compete on a global level with their peers, preparing our children for college and careers.

There are many ways to get involved in our schools:  volunteer your time, donate resources, adopt a school/classroom, sponsor a district-wide initiative, etc.

Community Engagement Strategies include:

  • School District Updates/Community Presentations and Tours
  • Multiple Avenues/Resources to Connect with the Community
  • Sharing Ways to get involved with our Schools
  • Parent Engagement Opportunities
  • Collaborate with Community Organizations/Developing Community Partnerships

Contact Rena Anderson to get involved:  rena.anderson@hsv-k12.org or 256-428-6943.
