For over a quarter of a century, EARTHSCOPE has been providing hands-on, experiential, activity based educational experiences for elementary school children.

Each year, the EARTHSCOPE staff instructs over 18,000 elementary school students, teachers, and adult chaperones on environmental issues and concepts through a variety of field excursions.

It is EARTHSCOPE's goal to instill environmental awareness, foster stewardship, and nurture a sense of caring and responsibility for the Earth.

   

EARTHSCOPE has been recognized and honored both nationally and locally for providing quality educational experiences.  This program is unique in that it offers a range of multi-site studies that accommodate a variety of learning styles.  The curriculum is sequenced and designed to correlate with  objectives outlined in the Alabama Course of Study.
