NetDays Speak Up Survey for Parents and Students

Please click the above image to take part in the 2009 Speak Up Survey, a national research project sponsored by Project Tomorrow. Until December 18, 2009, you can join students, teachers, and parents from around the country in speaking up to decision-makers about technology, science, math, and 21st Century skills.

As part of an expanded Technology Evaluation Model, Huntsville City Schools will be collecting additional data on technology and 21st Century skills using the NetDays Speak Up Survey. Speak Up is an annual national research project, sponsored by Project Tomorrow, which collects stakeholder views about key educational topics. The survey addresses technology, science, math, 21st century skills, and the ability of our students to compete in the global economy. Since it began, the project has collected the viewpoints of over 1.2 million K-12 students, teachers and parents from all 50 states, and around the world.

Huntsville City Schools is committed to having at least 10% of our students and teachers take the online survey. Because we will have access to our aggregated school data, this is a great opportunity for students, teachers, and parents to join in a local and national dialog about issues that impact education today.  Results will be available for the system as well as for your individual schools.
