Dr. Jennie Robinson

Dr. Jennie Robinson was elected to the Huntsville City Schools Board of Education in 2002 and re-elected for a second term in 2006. A five time PTA president, she was made an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Alabama PTA in 1999. She is a graduate of Leadership Huntsville/Madison County and Leadership Alabama and received Leadership Huntsville/Madison County’s Distinguished Leadership Award in 2006. She has served on the state board of VOICES for Alabama’s Children state, as co-chair of the Madison County Coordinating Council for Families’ and Children and as president of the Women’s Economic Development Council Foundation.
She is married to Dr. Michael Robinson and they are the parents of five children, Lexie, Cassie and Christie who all graduated from Grissom High School, Cyndie, a Senior at Grissom, and John, an 8th grader at Mountain Gap Middle School.
Dr. Robinson has over twenty years of experience as a management consultant and trainer. After receiving her PhD. and Masters Degrees in Consumer Behavior from Purdue University, Dr Robinson taught classes in Marketing, Market Research, and Consumer Behavior at Purdue University, Alabama A&M, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Dr Robinson owned her own corporate consulting company and is a Past President of the North Alabama Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. Dr. Robinson is currently on the staff of the United Way of Madison County as Vice President for Community Engagement.
