Chess
Club --- Beginning and Advanced strategy classes are held on
Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the library for students in grades
3 - 5 with prior knowledge of chess. Students will be eligible
to play in local tournaments and host "Bishops Bash" in
March. |

Drama
Club
|
A
fun way to discover all aspects of the stage, including behind-the-scenes
work. Students participate in character building theater games
and present a self-produced play.

Open
to all students in grade K - 5 depending on session. Meets
on Mondays from 2:30 -3:30 in the library. Three sessions will
be offered during the school year. The first session for grades
K-5 begins Aug. 24th with learning French! Students will learn
basic French sayings, songs, and culture. The last session
for grades 3 - 5 begins March 29th with German! Click

If
you enjoy problem-solving, pencil-chewing, contests and teamwork…we
want you! The club’s purpose is to provide enrichment
and challenges for students who have a strong interest in mathematics.
The club will meet once a month from September to April. At
club meetings, students work individually and in small groups
to solve problems from various areas of mathematic. Occasionally
there will be a special presentation and/or guest speaker.

competitions. |

Calling
all future scientists! PTA is excited to announce a new after
school enrichment club facilitated by Sci-Quest. Six super
science topics are presented during the six classes. Students
meet in grade level groups once a month on Fridays from 2:30
- 3:30 in the library. Check out our science topics and more
information on our flyer.

Determined,
dedicated students who will work in teams on Lego robot
construction, robot programming, research, and teamwork activities.
Participation is required in a weekend tournament.
|
|
|
We
use educational software called Alice 2.0 that teaches kids
programming in a fun 3D environment.
