Let's keep Buzzing
2009/2010

Dear Parents,

This year is moving at a very steady pace. October and November will be busy but short months for us. We will have Fall Breaks in October, and in November: Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving. Nonetheless, we must make many accomplishments during these months. It is our desire that all of our children have a successful year. This is not possible without your help. I need some more of you to step up and offer your assistance this year. McDonnell will have various projects and events throughout the school year. We can always find a way to occupy any extra time you may have.

The first progress report has now been sent to you. I personally look at the progreess of each student. I am concerned that some of our students are not performing to their fullest potential. Please continue to encourage your child/children to do their best. Every student can be successful. This is our ultimate goal at McDonnell. It is important that you are aware of the progress of your child from week to week. Weekly communication with us will help your child tremendously. Good behaviour and a genuine concern for academics is a great combination to have.

As always, I appreciate your support and look forward to a long lasting relationship with you. I welcome your comments, suggestions, and ideas.
