Read Across America

Picture is hot-linked to NEA website

We are doing several things to celebrate reading, Read Across America at Williams. We are allowing the students to wear their favorite hats. So send your child in with his or her hat on Tuesday, March 2, 1010. They will be voting on their favorite book in the Children's Choice Award. Help your child decide in advance the title and how to spell it if needed. Volunteer to read in the class. Finally help us build the biggest birthday cake ever by sending in a 9X13" cake on a 9X13" piece of cardboard. Decorate it any way you wish. If you can't make a cake, send in a tub of whipped cream, or birthday candles. Of course you are welcome to come to this event, which will be held in the cafeteria at 1:30 P.M.
