West Mastin Lake Elementary School promotes high standards for academic achievement, encourages self-discipline, and strives to provide a safe, orderly environment that will enable all students to become confident, self-directed, life-long learners.

MODEL READING PROGRAM

West Mastin Lake is the model school for the Huntsville City School's reading inclusion program. This program ensures that all students, regardless of reading level - from struggling readers to those reading far above grade level, are included in small group reading instruction with no obvious differentiation.
