• Make-Up Picture Day is Tuesday, 10-13-09, for students who did not take their fall pics in August and for those who want to retake their pictures entirely. Students who are retaking pictures must have an order form and the appropriate payment in hand to be released from class.
• Yearbooks are on sale now for $65. See Mrs. Stephens in room 120 for more information.
• There is no longer a class for yearbook; therefore, students who are interested in working on the yearbook after school should see Mrs. Stephens or e-mail her at jstephens@hsv.k12.al.us immediately.

Announcements for Seniors

• Seniors who take their senior portraits with Prestige Portraits at Lifetouch Studio by 10/13/09 will be able to choose their formal and casual pictures for the yearbook. Please call (256) 534-1001 to make an appointment after June 1st.
• Seniors who do not take their senior portraits with Prestige Portraits at Lifetouch Studios by 10/13/09 will be photographed at school and will be in the yearbook, but they will not be able to choose their pictures and they will not have a casual picture in the yearbook.
• The 2010 Columbia Talon will cost $65. There is a $5 discount for seniors who pay for it with their senior fees by October 15th.
• There is a $25 discount on any senior page paid for with senior fees by October 15th; there is a $10 discount on any senior page paid for with senior fees by February 1st.
• Senior pages cost $125 for a full page, $75 for a 1/2 page, and $50 for a 1/4 page. Ads are full-color. Final deadline for senior pages is March 1st.
• Senior pages can feature meaningful quotations, letters from family and friends, and pictures of seniors to show how they have grown and changed over the years and to highlight their accomplishments.
