Mythology by Edith Hamilton (Will need to purchase before spring break. Used book stores or

1) Major tests are always announced at least 2 days before the test date.

made up within 2 weeks. Homework checks and daily grades will be made up at the
teacher’s discretion.

Grading:
Grading is done on a cumulative point system, i.e. total points acquired divided by the total
points possible during a grading period.
GRADES
WILL BE DETERMINED BY:

2) Unit tests
3) Vocabulary quizzes (weekly)
4) Classwork grades
5) Homework checks
6) Extra credit (Additional points may be earned during a grading period. Opportunities
to earn these points will be periodically given to the whole class. I do not offer extra
points for reports and projects. You must earn the points when given the opportunity!)
**I encourage each student (and parents) to check the STI weekly for an update of his/her
average.
