Beginning with the Ninth Grade Class of 2009, the Alabama State Department of Education has mandated that ALL freshmen will automatically be enrolled in courses leading to the Alabama High School Diploma with Advanced Academic Endorsement.
Upon graduation, students receiving this diploma will have earned the required 24 credits (including two years of the same foreign language and Algebra II with Trigonometry) and will have passed all five sections of the Alabama High School Graduation Exam.
