  • VFW Finalists for essay "When is the Right Time to Honor Our Military Heroes?" (in no particular order)

  • MGMS places 4th-7th place in AL Stock Market Game North!! The team of James Brahm, Christy Dillon, Chanda Shaw, and Caleb Yarbrough captured 4th place. In 5th place were Abbi Riddle and Brittany Campos. Both teams earned $50 for their wins. Mountain Gap teams also captured 6 th and 7 th place in the “Alabama Top Ten”. Gifted specialist, Penny Hill, is a veteran of the SMG and her teams are perennial challengers for top spots. Every student who finished in the “Alabama Top Ten” earned a handsome drawstring backpacks.
