We are looking forward to a great first full year with all of our students. We have started our sports programs and look forward to a winning season as well. Please remember that part of our first new year includes the new uniform policy which will go into effect when we return to school. The school and community of Williams Middle School recognize that the purpose of the school is to provide for the mental, physical, emotional and social development of each child so that growth and development may be to the fullest potential. The school program will encourage self-discipline, cooperation, courtesy, and good citizenship.
The Williams faculty believes that the instructional program should be designed to provide a variety of experiences in order to meet the individual needs of children. To achieve this, the faculty and staff will use a variety of instructional methods. We realize that students have different learning styles. Therefore, teachers will present lessons so that auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners can succeed.
The faculty believes that learning activities should be planned according to a prescribed sequential program, subject to the readiness, ability, and interest of the child. The staff believes that individual needs are met by using the techniques of small group, large group, and one-to-one instruction.
